In the course of securing trademark protection for Katy Perry in Australia, it came to the attention of her representatives that Katie Howell, a clothing designer in Australia, had filed an application for trademark protection under a similar name in connection with her own clothing design business.  A routine notice letter was sent to Ms. Howell, as is customary in trademark practice, alerting her of Ms. Perry’s intended application.———————————————- 
This is a routine trademark application, and I certainly haven’t sued anyone. As usual, some of the press seems to have delighted in creating a story where there is none.

First of all today has been so wonderful… my whole family is in town, here in Paris, and we celebrated my father’s birthday today and it’ so great to have my fartball brother/sidekick here. Tomorrow I get to play the world famous Olympia (LEGENDARY) !!! There couldn’t have been a better cherry on top to my day as this one… video explains it all!!!

The amazing Brian May came out to my show in London last night and I was oh so flattered and nervous to play infront of him… especially my Queen cover. He was so sweet and my stalker side came out for sure… we had a photo session… and I wanted to share a picture with you of me and one of the men responsible for my love of music. so if you’re a regular reader of this blog you’ll know that I’m obsessed with a couple of things in life, 1. my cat, miss kitty… and sometimes 2. my bff, Markus Molinari. It’s a love hate relation… but mostly love. For his 31st birthday I bought him a ticket to tokyo to come with me. We visited Tokyo together about 4 years ago and it was where we first fell in love, from a distance. ha. He’s my sidekick. When I get sick, he gets sick. When I have a show, he has a show. I released One Of The Boys, he’s finishing mixing, One of The Girls. Anyway, I just wanted to post a couple pics from some fun times we’ve been having. Yesterday I got to shoot the cover of Nylon Japan and Markus was there… shooting some other cover (?) Also to see some fun behind the scenes and to see what marcheese is doing go to www.markusisthedrug.com. Yesterday was nylon shoot and filming in a space shuttle (random?) for japanese tv. Today was hanging out with Manish Arora and course shows every night. Tomorrow is CALIFORNIA ROLL @ MTV Japan VMA! GOGOGO!

oh so complex… If you’re by a magazine stand, check it out. It’s definitely the darker side of me… but we all have a little devil on one should and a little angel on the next. Ha the “angel” seventeen magazine will be out in a week as well! You’ll see. I like this interview for once too, it’s kawaii!!!
